Come to the Table - Core Values
As a Come to the Table Host, you are helping create an atmosphere where people can encounter Jesus. By participating in this event, you agree with these core values:
1. Jesus Is the Center
Everything we do points to Jesus Christ. We are here to exalt Him above every person, ministry, or platform.
2. Scripture Is Our Foundation
God's Word is our authority. We remain faithful to the Bible in gatherings, leadership, and conduct.
3. Prayer First & Spirit-Led
Prayer is the foundation of every gathering. We depend on God before, during, and after the event, while remaining sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
4. Pursue Unity
We joyfully gather believers from different churches, denominations, generations, and backgrounds around the person of Jesus and the essential truths of the Christian faith.
5. Keep Communion Central
Communion is the centerpiece of every gathering, reminding us that our unity is found in the finished work of Christ.
6. Biblical Conviction
We uphold the Bible as God's authoritative Word and affirm its teachings on marriage, sexuality, and Christian living. As hosts, we honor Jesus by living and leading according to biblical truth.
7. Love and Honor People
Treat every person with dignity, kindness, and respect. Choose humility, honor, and servant-hearted leadership in every interaction.
8. Honor the Local Church
Whenever possible, partner with and encourage local pastors and churches, recognizing the local church as God's primary place for discipleship.
9. Stay Focused on the Mission
Come to the Table exists to unite believers through worship, prayer, and communion. Avoid promoting personal ministries, political agendas, fundraising, or unrelated causes during the gathering.
10. Pursue Excellence, Trust God with the Results
Lead with preparation, integrity, and excellence while remembering that success is measured by faithfulness to Jesus—not attendance or outcomes.
